Terms of use
These terms cover using princeofpost.com and the Prince of Post connector for AI assistants. They're short. By using Prince of Post you agree to them.
What Prince of Post is
A free tool that reads a Royal Mail QR code, the kind you're asked to show at a Post Office, and lays it out as a 6x4 label you can print at home. There's no account and nothing to pay. Prince of Post doesn't sell or create postage: a label carries exactly the postage already in its QR code.
Not affiliated
Prince of Post is independent. It isn't affiliated with, endorsed by or connected to Royal Mail, Vinted, eBay, ASOS or any other retailer. Their names appear only to say which QR codes work.
Your part
- Only use QR codes for postage that you, or whoever sent you the QR code, have paid for.
- Use each label once, on the parcel it was bought for.
- Check the label before you post it: the address is right, the barcodes are sharp and complete, and it printed at full size rather than shrunk to fit the page.
- Follow Royal Mail's rules on what you send and how you pack it.
Royal Mail decides
Royal Mail decides whether to accept a label printed at home. If one is refused, you can still show the QR code at a Post Office as you normally would.
No warranty
Prince of Post is provided free and “as is”, without any warranty. We work hard to make every label right, but we can't promise the site or connector will always be available or error-free, or that every label will be accepted. As far as the law allows, we aren't liable for any loss from using it, including refused labels, delayed or lost parcels and postage costs. Nothing in these terms limits liability that the law doesn't allow us to limit, or affects your statutory rights.
Fair use
Don't use Prince of Post for anything unlawful, and don't try to overload, attack or break the site or the connector.
Privacy
The privacy policy explains how your QR code and other information are handled.
Changes
We may update these terms. When we do, we'll change this page and its effective date.
Law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. If you live in Scotland or Northern Ireland, you can also bring a claim in your local courts.
